Our Commitment to Privacy

PDF Toolbox is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your documents should remain yours — completely private and secure.

No File Upload — All Processing Is Local

This is the most important thing you need to know: your PDF files are never uploaded to any server. All PDF processing (compression, merging, splitting, conversion) happens entirely within your web browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript.

Your files stay on your device from the moment you select them until you download the result. We have no servers that receive, store, or process your documents.

What Data We Collect

We use a privacy-focused analytics service that collects only:

• Anonymous page view counts (no personal data)
• Country-level location (not IP address)
• Browser type and device category

We do NOT collect:

• Your PDF files or their contents
• Your name, email, or any personal information
• Your IP address or precise location
• Any form of tracking cookies

Cookies

PDF Toolbox does not use any tracking cookies. We may use a single session cookie for essential functionality, which is deleted when you close your browser.
